Areas we serve

Orange County and Los Angeles County

The two counties work differently. Orange County runs on its county bail schedule; Los Angeles County has operated Pre-Arraignment Release Protocols since October 2023, and for many arrests there no money bail is required at all.

Find someone

Jail and inmate information

If you do not yet know where someone is being held, start here. Locating a person in custody is free and it is the first thing we do.

Courthouses

Where the case will be heard

It follows where the arrest happened, not where the person lives.

How bail works

What actually happens, step by step

Most people calling us have never dealt with the jail system before. This is the sequence, and knowing it makes the wait less frightening.

Step 1

Call us, any hour

Give us the name and roughly where the arrest happened. That is enough for us to start.

Step 2

We verify the charge and bail

We contact the facility, confirm the bail amount, and check whether a hold or a hearing requirement applies before release is possible.

Step 3

Payment options

Payment plans are available. For those who qualify we offer 0% interest and no collateral. We give you the exact figure once we know the bail amount and the charge.

Step 4

Paperwork by text or email

You do not have to drive to an office to sign. We can send everything to you.

Step 5

A licensed agent posts the bond

Bail is posted at the facility holding the person, not at a courthouse and not at our office.

Step 6

Release and court reminders

Release timing is controlled by the jail. We stay in touch afterwards and remind you of court dates.

The three kinds of bond. A surety bond is the usual route — you pay a percentage of the bail rather than the whole amount. Cash bail means the full amount goes directly to the jail or court. A property bond uses real estate as collateral and is generally only used when bail is high. We will tell you which one fits. Full detail is on bail bond services and payment plans.
